Since I decided to to get my ebook reader I've decided to read one from there and read a regular book at the same time. I'm just wondering if anyone else does that? I haven't been disappointed with to many books that I've been reading. I just figured I'd try something knew.
Would you guys and gals read more then one book at a time or is it to hard to keep track of what you are reading?

Perhaps it’s the business I own, always finding new and wonderful self-published / independent authors, but I am always reading more than one book. I try to only read one in any specific genre at a time. Reading two books about war, vampires, romance, puppies… might get a little confusing. Currently I am reading three separate books all with very different storylines. I don’t find it difficult to keep the stories separate. Sometimes it’s nice to pick and choose what I feel like reading when. Happy reading, enjoy that ereader, mine is my favorite addiction.
Write on / Read on,
Brooke

You are not alone in this!
I am constantly reading more than one book at a time. It usually happens when I am either bored by a book or a new book from a series I have been reading comes out.
It's only hard to keep track if I don't get back to my original books quickly enough. I have left books sitting there for more than a year - there is no way I remember everything that I have already read. I am usually pretty good at keeping track, otherwise.
Best of luck with your multiple book tryout :)
Karina.

I always read more than one book at a time.
One of the reason I often stop reading a book is because of when a library "on hold" book comes in I have to drop my other books because of the deadline from the library.

I read more than one at a time if one is non-fiction, essays, or short stories. I usually only have one novel going on at a time, though.

I am so glad you asked this question! I was thinking about posting it myself :)
I have never read more than one at a time. I don't know why...I just can't :(
Looking forward to hearing what others have to say.

I prefer to read one at a time.
Permalink Reply by shelly blomker on February 10, 2013 at 7:15pm I've seemed to notice that the last few books I've read, I've read faster maybe because they were ebooks. I still got plenty of reading to do and with the addiction of my ereader now, I'll be finding some books that I might just add to my book blog. Thank you for replying to my question and yes I'll be reading more then one book at a time.
Definitely always reading more than 1 book. I have 2 readers and usually am carrying around a paperback. I have my night-time reading, and books for review that I am usually reading. Nothing wrong with it. I will highlight, take notes on my reader ( not paperbacks), and don't get the plots confused. Obviously, if that was happening, I would need to stop doing that ;) Otherwise, I'd be driving myself crazy with all these "new" characters and plots! LOL!
