Hi everyone! I've been here for a while, but I belong to so many author websites, that it's hard for me to keep track of them all! I wish there was some way I could keep everything in one place! LOL.
Anyway, my name is Beth Ann Masarik, and I am the author of The World Among Us: Prince of Darkness, and Founder & Editor in Chief of Literary Lunes Magazine/Literary Lunes Publications.
I am always looking to connect with fellow authors and writers. The World Among Us: Prince of Darkness is a YA/Urban Fantasy about Greek Gods falling in love with Vampires & Mortals. It was published by Otherworld Publications on August 19, 2011. In addition, i also have two short stories out called Murderous Regrets & Moon Spirit (both based off of the novel).
For more information about me and my books, please visit my website www.bethannmasarik.com, and for more information on Literary Lunes Magazine, please visit www.literarylunes.com (I am ALWAYS looking for people to submit articles on literature, short stories, and poetry. I also interview published authors, so if anyone would like me to interview them, please let me know! We also feature book reviews.).
I also have a new blog, where I am also posting book reviews & interviews. I would love to participate on blog tours and blog hops, so if you are ever looking to fill a spot, please let me know! The link to my blog is www.literarylunespublications.blogspot.com
Looking forward to hearing from you!

I must learn to use social networking! I'm an old style writer who gets so engrosed in his work!
The power of words still rings true!
Books fire the imagination. They protect the past and pave the way for the future. They have no boundries or limits. They keep the mind alive and the brain active. Fiction read by those who deal in fact, sometimes oause and consider " What if?"
keep writing
Jeff
The above statement means so much to me on so many levels. It's a creed I've always tried to live up to.
I've seen terrible things, in terrible situations, in terrible neighbourhoods. I've witnessed death and destruction. So many negative memories!
Then again I've experienced love and the joy of seeing a new born child who I called 'son' for the first time. I've loved both parents who raised me well and showed them due respect and love when they passed on. I'm full of happy, fond family memories, which I shall always cherish. I've never taken for granted the sun rising in the morning or the setting at night.
Writing for me is a passion. I've written so many stories, so many books. I never thought, in the early years of trying to get them published . To me writing was everything. It was a place I could escape to when times were hard or a place I could leap into when an idea filled me with excitement. It matters not if you're a good writer or a bad writer! I tell people (who listen) that there is no such thing as a bad writer! If you write, it's taking that extra step to put your ideas and thoughts on paper. It's something that millions of others never do. It's what makes you special, not to them but yourself. It's effort and time and an act of conscious thought that allows you to stand up straight and say "I did it."
