Permalink Reply by Sheila Hendrix on May 28, 2011 at 3:37am Hi Bobbie! Thanks for the invite. My name is Sheila Hendrix and I'm the author of the Young Adult paranormal book, The Betrayal. It's book one in The Dark Circle book series. I'm posting a teaser on my page of the Prologue and first four chapters of The Betrayal and would love for you all to read it as I post and tell me what you think. I also do book reviews so if you have a book you would like me to review, just let me know. I'll review almost anything. Thanks for having me!

Permalink Reply by Kimberly Maloney on May 28, 2011 at 2:18pm My name is Kimberly and I'm 30 years old. I am a Secondary English Teacher, and I recently was hired to teach 7th grade English in Arizona, and I will be moving to AZ at the end of June!
I began my book blog back in January, and I'm surprised at how much it has grown since then! It has definitely become much more than just a hobby to me, and I love it!
I currently have around 160 followers, but I hope it hits 200 within the next two weeks.
I accept as many review requests as possible, and I love all genres of books, but as my blog link name points out, historical fiction is my favorite!
Any authors interested in having me read and review their novel for them are more than welcome to get a hold of me! My review time might go up a little bit, because I'm still working 3 jobs at the moment, plus I will be moving in a month, but I will still endeavor to get novels reviewed and posted ASAP. I also host giveaways for authors.
Anyways, just stop in and check out my blog. The review policy is on one of the tabs!

Permalink Reply by Colleen Collins on June 16, 2011 at 1:23pm Hi, I'm a private investigator and writer. Our blog "Guns, Gams, and Gumshoes" http://writingpis.wordpress.com/ is geared to writers wanting to learn about sleuths and sleuthing, but we also post about investigative trends, techniques and topics, too. My PI-business partner and I have just finished a non-fiction book (HOW TO WRITE A DICK: A GUIDE TO WRITING FICTIONAL SLEUTHS FROM A COUPLE OF REAL-LIFE SLEUTHS) that will be available on Kindle and Nook in July 2011.

We'd love to find non-fiction reviewers -- especially those who enjoy books about crime, mysteries, investigations -- so feel free to send a message to me here at Book Blogs if you're interested.
Best, Colleen
P.S. As to books I love, probably no big surprise I read PI genre. Currently reading TO FETCH A THIEF by Spencer Quinn

Permalink Reply by Cassie McCown on June 30, 2011 at 12:49am Hey y'all! I'm Cassie...29, married, SAHM to 3 kiddos, a Yorkie, a sugar glider and looks like soon to be a kitten :-)... I'm an avid reader/reviewer and a closet writer ;-). I started doing some work with JournalStone publishing earlier this year, which inspired me to start my own review blog, Gathering Leaves--which has been growing like crazy! Just this week, I started co-hosting a Blog Talk Radio show (JournalJabber) with a couple gals I work with at JournalStone. It is tons of fun, but it's hard to get a word in with those chatty ladies ;-).
I love to read just about anything. My favorites are historical fiction and ya fantasy...but I seriously will read anything... ;-) Dystopian, fantasy, paranormal, sci-fi, chick lit...I even started reading some horror again!! Novel, novella, poetry, short story, graphic novel... I especially love to do children's books with my kids. You get the idea ;-)...
I have TONS of books on my to-review list at the moment (around 75), but I am always willing to add more as long as the author/publisher understands it may take a while for me to get to it! I will review EVERYTHING I read, so as soon as I read it, I WILL get a review up! ;-)
I guess that's about it! Please drop by and follow my blog...facebook...Twitter (Cassie629)... Goodreads...Shelfari...LibraryThing... ;-)
Thanks for having me!
Permalink Reply by Amber on July 4, 2011 at 6:15am Hey everyone!
My name is Amber and I am a 20 year old student, currently studying English Literature and Creative Writing at De Montfort University in the UK. I absolutely adore books and am open to pretty much any genre but I only blog for YA novels! Originally I started a blog for a class assignment. My course leader asked us to research online writing and then we had to set up our own blogs which could be about anything. I'll be perfectly honest, to begin with I really wasn't all that interested and I was really stuggling with coming up with ideas to blog about. And then I came across loads of different blogs that reviewed books and simply just discussed books during my research and I really came around to the idea. I love any excuse to talk books!
My blog is called The Spine-Breaker's Club so if you are interested in all things Young Adult then feel free to mosy on over to my cyber space place!
Thanks a lot! I look forward to meeting new bloggers.
