Linkies

I'd like to start a weekly book meme and I'm thinking about including a linky thing at the end of each meme post so that particpants can add a link to their blog post. I've never done this sort of thing before and I'd like to know more about the options that are out there. I'm looking for either:

 

1. A wordpres plugin that would do something like this (I have a self-hosted wordpress blog).
2. A third party app that would let me do this.  

 

I'm aware of Mr. Linky's Magical Widgets, but I'm not too fond of how they look. I'm looking for something that's both free and easy to customize. Is there anything else out there?

I started with Mr. Linky but switched to inlinkz after one week.  I really like it but I have a blogger blog so don't know how it works with Wordpress.  

With inlinkz you can host as many text linky parties as you want for free which is really great.

Thanks Lesa, I'm going to have to check inlinkz out! Any other suggestions from you or anyone else would be much appreciated. :-)
