Back in February 2012, my daughter and I published a dear book in hopes of spreading awareness and funds to a local equine shelter. We are in hopes of making a difference someday for horses that can not use their voices. Luckily there are heart filled people out their willing to open up their hearts and homes to bring these lovely animals in. This is a expensive venture, and lots of shelters need to do many fund-raising events to help the horses that they were able to save.
First Light Farm Equine Shelter, in Perry Maine has made such a huge difference in downeast, Maine. They have also saved horses/donkeys from huge auctions across New England saving them from a last chance of auction before slaughter. We chose to help out this farm, because their hearts are in the right place and they are making a difference with one horse at a time.
“Gypsy's Meadow” is a book that we have written from our hearts, it was never meant to be shared until we met the wonderful crew of “First Light Farm.” Since we have been on a mission to make a difference, slowly we are making a difference.
I would love to ask anyone that has a small moment of their time, to review, share, and maybe just even pass along.
I know this is a lot to ask, we are just in hopes of being a voice of those horses in need and each and every moment makes such a huge difference.

She remembers when a little girl opened her heart and opened up a whole new way of living. She chose her new life, and wants to share it with you; hoping for other horses out there in need, will have a chance to live with love.
“Gypsy’s Meadow” is a touching story which tells a tale of other simuliar horses out there that are just plainly looking for a good home. The purpose and mission of this book, is to raise funds for “First Light Farms Equine Shelter”; so other horses can share their “Remember When” and not “Maybe could be.”
