Marketing books to blogs

Hi, I am new to Book Blogs and I was wondering how to market my books.  My books are a combination of historical romance and mystery with a hint of supernatural.  Is it acceptable to post links to my books or can that only be done by an administrator?  I would also like to promote my website www.irinashapiro.com which has a description of my novels and cover images, plus some information about me.

Visit some of the blogs who are members here, and see if they're suitable for your book, then read their policy carefully and send them a well-crafted email pitching them the book.

Posting here is a good start.  Also, I've notice that a lot of new and Indie authors contact review bloggers for review and promotion requests.  As a reviewer myself, I get a lot of emails directly from authors requesting I review and promote new books to help get more interest and traffic to the author's book/website.

I suggest searching the review bloggers who post about books in your genre, then contact them with your review request - make sure to include a blurb about the book, and yourself and include website, book buy links.

I know it says "not taking new reviews" but for you, I'd make an exception to help you get going.  Feel free to email me your book info if you think it would fit on one of my blogs.

Look through that directory under your genre. You should be able to find some bloggers that might like your book. Make sure you read their review policies before you ask them to review your book though!
