Meaning no disrespect since i am a reviewer as well, but some reviewers are damn nasty.....

I happened to come accross this blog after this reviewer by the name of every author's nightmare reviewed some books of good autors. It was really brutal what this reviewer did, and i'm a bit scared, lol! considering that she has left a comment on my blog that she will be looking forward to reviewing my blog. Guys what do you  thing, when should a reviewer draw the line or something. Do you think it's fair.

she even went as far as calling the blog EVERY AUTHOR'S NIGHTMARE..

As a reviewer, I know that there are going to be things that I am going to read, but not necessarily like.  Keeping this in mind; I try to provide constructive criticism.  This does NOT mean that I am going to rip the author and his/her work to shreds.  What this does mean is that I am going to give both the good and bad points of the work and use MY WORDS, to diplomatically detail the areas that I found lacking.

In the reviewers defense, she makes no bones about the fact that she will rip you a new one if she doesn't like the work.  Authors, don't be afraid to ask the person reviewing "YOUR BABY" questions about their review policy, go to the site and see their review style for yourself before offering up your work, and never let one bad review stop your writing.

Reviews are subjective!  What one reviewer considers hamburger, another may treat as steak.
