One of the most important things you can do is to read and comment on other people's blogs who enjoy similar books. There's a great blogging community out there; you just need to connect to it. I noticed that you enjoy urban fiction, so you should reach out to bloggers who enjoy that genre as well.
It's also a good idea to sign up for webmaster tools with Google, MSN, and Yahoo. Here's a link on how to do it:

Another suggestion is that when commenting in this particular forum, leave a link to your blog below whatever you post. It's a pain here for people to go searching around on your profile to find a link to your blog, so leaving one can increase traffic a bit.
