Need help! How to create great Backlinks for Book Blogs?

Hey guys, I was just wondering how I could get great backlinks to my blog. I do mostly book reviews with my main gengre: Fanatsy. I sometimes go out of my crcle and talk about different things, always book related. So what ways do you get backlinks? I tried amazon but you can't post any links in your reviews :S Any Ideas?

Try posting comments on various blogs.  Some blogs have the "comment luv" option which will link to your most recent post at the time of commenting.  Also, if someone writes a review of the same book, they might be interested in reading your review as well.  So you can leave it in the comments on their review post.

Using social media is a great way to get links out there.  You can tweet out your link on Twitter every time you publish a new post.  You can also create boards for your posts on Pinterest.  If you have a Facebook fan page for your blog, that's another way.

As for Amazon, make sure you create a profile and link to your blog in your profile.  And post as much as possible in book blog forums and on Goodreads too.

I saw someone do this on Goodreads recently.  They put a short snipped of a review and then linked to the full review and said to visit their blog for the rest.  Might be a good strategy to try!  :)

Hmm definately, but for that I'd have to optomize my reviews. By that I mean make them super interesting from the first few paragraphs. Not that I'm saying that my reviews aren't good, but I'd have to work on it :P

 

Is there somewhere where I can see my backlinks? Would be quite helpfull.
