Hi Everyone,

The long-awaited day is finally here. We have learned that our deadline for purchasing a plan on the Ning is August 20th. We need to raise $500 by then to keep this network going for another year. There are two ways to donate on this site:
1. There is a donation button at the top right-hand corner of the main page.
2. There is a Donate tab up at the top next to the Chat tab.
Both buttons will take you to a PayPal site where you can enter a donation amount. No amount is too small.

I am not going to be making any money on this website. Once we've reached our goal, the Donate tabs will be removed and we can all rest easy for awhile. With nearly 7,000 members and over 1,000 daily site visitors, I think we can do this!

In addition, if anyone would like to purchase advertising space on this site, that would be a great way to help us keep this site running as well.

Made my donation! May be small ($5) but if everyone that uses this great site puts that in...we'll be WELL over the amount needed. Off to spread the word....Twitter...and I think I'll feature it in a blog post this Friday. Normal site traffic with the Book Blogger Hop going on should help get it before additional sets of eyes.
