Well, my last post was a review of a book that I didn't particularly care for, so why I don't I post the last review for a book that I really enjoyed? Moon Over Manifest by Clare Vanderpool, which won the Newberry for 2011:

I have a new post up about Robert C. O'Brien's Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH .
It probably doesn't count as a review because I don't discuss plot, characters or setting, but I write about the theme, which I think is the best part of any book. I hope you decide to check it out and maybe leave a comment. =)
Thanks!
You know, I think that as a book reviewer, you should write about whatever stands out to you about the novel. That's why I sometimes enjoy reading multiple reviews of the same novel. Everyone has a different reaction to a book -- and that's why it's fun to discuss.
Meanwhile, I'm excited to find another YA book posted on here -- I'll definitely check out your review!

Thanks, Lauren! I agree with you about the appeal of multiple reviews. The different things which stand out to people are always interesting.

This is my latest book review:
This Perfect World by Suzanne Bugler
Definitely one of the best books I've read this year so have a read of my review and see what you think :)
Permalink Reply by llevinso on February 2, 2011 at 7:10pm I rarely read new-new books, if you know what I mean. But here are my latest reviews. There's one on The Help, which is newish. And the second is on a classic: The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde.
