Permalink Reply by ManOfLaBook.com on May 24, 2012 at 7:35am A Sense of Direction: Pilgrimage for the Restless and the Hopeful by Gideon Lewis-Kraus is a memoir of the author walking famous pilgrimage trail while working on his own issues. While this book can be considered a travelogue, I believe it is something more.

MADE FOR YOU AND ME by Caitlin Shetterly
THE GIST:
A young couple's memoir of going west to chase the American dream, only to find themselves going broke in a devastating economy.
THE VERDICT:
Visit A Kindle in Hong Kong to see my review of this moving recession-era memoir. Caitlin Shetterly captures this moment in our history with raw honesty.
