When a young woman vanishes without a trace from a quaint fishing village on the coast of England only one person knows the truth, but he remains silent allowing the authorities to search for her in vain.

My latest review is of the book Fear of the Dark by Walter Mosley. It's the third in his Fearless Jones mysteries, set in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Watts during the 1950s. Mosley is an amazing author, and I can't praise him enough--which is why my review might be just a tad bit sycophantic. Whatever. At least I acknowledge it, right?
