Hi,
I would love it if you checked out my blog That Teenage Feeling. I review YA books, of all kinds, but have a bias towards contemp YA and Aussie YA. Oh, and there are cupcakes too! :)

Hey guys. I'm new to Book Blogs. My book came out about three months ago and here's the link to buy it on Amazon. It also has the description. To you guys, here's my description of one of my private reasons for writing the book. Basically, I just thought I could write a book and wanted to prove it to myself. So, what I did is I wrote about the person who I wish I had been in high school. Not that I didn't have friends, but I was not Duncan Lipton (my main character). He is the most popular person in school, has the hottest girlfriend, and is all but guaranteed to be a professional basketball player. He's the kind of guy who has it all, but doesn't rub it anyone's face. He just has it so good, there's no need to prove it. Well, I pretty much wanted to put this guy in all sorts of exciting and memorable situations in which he just gets screwed over again and again because the balance of the universe can't have someone have it so good. It's just not fair. I love the character, but he needed to punished for having the life I wanted. That's not something I tell everyone, but the people on this site are sharing what it's like to be an author, and this is one of the key components in my mind of the relationship between my book and myself.

Morning folks. Is everyone enjoying the Olympics? Excellent.
I've been discussing a bit of Olympic stuff on my blog, although I might have gone a bit far when I asked the question "Am I more successful that Michael Phelps?" Fairly easy question to answer as it turned out.
Anyway, I've given the layout a tweak just to freshen things up and decided to hammer the book promo less (because it makes no difference to sales) and just ramble on about current events instead. I've also changed the blog title to more accurately reflect the content.
