posting a review on your blog + another site

Do you guys post a review on your blog and also other websites like Amazon, Goodreads, Librarything, etc? If so, where else do you post your reviews? Do you post the same exact review on your blog as you do elsewhere, or do you post something a little different?

I was just curious as to what the common practices where.

ETA: I also forgot to ask - if you post elsewhere, do you include a link back to your blog post as well, or just the review?

I post the same exact review on our blog http://goodchoicereading.blogspot.com and on GoodReads.com

I sometime's post it on Amazon as well, but not as much.

I always post the same review on GoodReads.com and anywhere else the publisher asked me to. I would like to post it on Amazon but it always says I can't since I didn't buy it from them. How do you get around that, Damaris?

Enter giveaways to win amazon gift cards and when you win, buy a book with it and you will have purchased from them. That's the only way I've ever bought from them. I have won and earned (through mom central campaigns for my other blog) over $100 in gift cards.

I just know there has to be a way around that requirement. I saw a review there just the other day where they put at the bottom "I received this book from the publisher" so I'm missing something somewhere.

I've never received this response. I go to the book's page on amazon. Scroll down to the reviews, and there is a link for write your own review. I've never bought any of the books on amazon.com, since they were sent to me for free.

I was posting to amazon as well but now I review so many books and do so many things I don't have time. I'm a member of GoodReads too and I'd like to post them there as well (or part of it with a link to the full review like some do) but I just don't have the time!

It takes less than 1 minute to add an amazon.com or a goodreads or librarything, etc review. You just copy and paste your original review...
