Promoting Authors

I started my blog on facebook little over 6 months ago and the number of fans is mindblowing to me.  Recently I was given the opportunity to help promote one of my favorite authors...Susan Mallery!  I was made a Susan Mallery cheerleader which means I am sent bookmarks and other promotional swag to give to readers, libraries, bookstores, and anywhere else I can get people interested in her new series.  I can't believe the wonderful opportunity I have been given and none of it would have happened without my starting a blog.  I've also been given the chance to promote authors such as Cherry Adair, Heidi Betts, and several new authors.  Have any of you helped promote authors in any way??  I'd love to hear your stories.  As my cheerleading job I highly recommend checking out Susan Mallery's newest books in her Fool's Gold series.  You can learn more about her books at www.susanmallery.com.  You can also check out my blog www.facebook.com/Bookiesfan
