Following you, Naiche. Thanks!
Permalink Reply by Emily Hiesl on January 15, 2011 at 7:55pm Rebecca - I just followed you on blogspot. I love it. The description on my blog says:
"DISCLAIMER: All of my books are real. I do not own a Kindle, a Nook, or any of that modern rubbish."
Thank you for sticking up for REAL BOOKS. Rock on.
I used to think like you, but around a year and a half ago I bought a Kindle and I have to say it is addictive. I feel such pleasure being able to carry all my favourite books around with me wherever I go!
I still like paper books as well, though!
Permalink Reply by Theresa Ann mullins on January 27, 2012 at 1:58am I'm with you Maria. I was like"I'm not going to buy me a Kindle. I prefer to hold a real book." But a couple of years ago I moved back in with my mother & stepfather to go school and I can only keep out things that would fit in the little room I use so all my books were packed away in the attic. I bought the Kindle and with all the free books Amazon gives away for free I can still fulfill my craving for reading. I still love the hard copies more and dream of having a room filled with books one day, but for now the Kindle serves my needs. :-)

I don't read a Kindle right now as I read four or five books a week from my library. I am scared I will break a Kindle, and also the ebooks sold for Kindle seem expensive. But now I am seeing all the freebies on Amazon maybe I will try it! But I am at heart a luddite and am barely able to deal with computers let alone 'fake' books!!! Although I sell a lot of my books via ibookstore and kindle so maybe I should just grab the bull by the horns.

I bought the cheapo Kindle so I couldn't surf the web. Nothing's more attractive than being able to check back in at work and that would ruin the reading experience. But I have to say, I'm a total luddite and I LOVE the Kindle experience.

I love my Kindle I have a Nook now too haha :) they both fit in my purse and I always have my books with me :) and my Kindles battery kicks butt I love it, I also have a floor to ceiling book shelf thats full,I still give real books love too, Like Time untime by Sherrilyn Kenyon, wont be on my e-books list :) gotta keep my set complete :)
