My newest blog post is a Booking Through Thursday meme with a question attatched. You can find it at http://project-tbr.blogspot.com/2011/09/booking-through-thursday-3....

I am just getting started getting my blog off the ground. I own a small bookstore and we also just launched a publishing house. It is a blog for me to talk about my view from the bookside of things and i will be having authors and other people in the industry guest blogging occasionally.

I just posted a review of THE GUERSNEY LITERARY AND POTATO PEEL PIE SOCIETY by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows

THE GIST:

An epistolary novel about an author who connects with a community in the Channel Islands over their shared love of reading in the aftermath of World War II.

THE VERDICT:

Visit A Kindle in Hong Kong to see the review and enter my Amazon.com gift certificate giveaway!

These aren't review posts but instead book trailers for a couple of rather awesome books I've reviewed in the last couple of weeks. I'm not usually a huge fan of book trailers, but... hmm, maybe I just haven't found the right ones until now. I love both of these (and the one for Bedbugs is being rather cleverly done via a series of Craigslist ads in various cities linking to the trailer, which I think is a stroke of genius!)
