Question about Amazon Giftcards

I'd like to include a gift card in my next giveaway. I have money in my paypal account, can I use that to purchase one? What do I have to do? Do I buy it first and then after the giveaway send them something or do I need to know the winner first so I can send the giftcard directly to them??

Hey Callista:

You can't use Paypal to buy an Amazon giftcard, Amazon doesn't take Paypal (which really sucks I know). To purchase one you don't have to buy it yourself first, when you have your winner just get their e-mail address that their Amazon account is associated with and when you purchase it you put that in the 'send to' slot. It will then send an e-certificate to them for the amount that they won.

Thanks. I guess I can't offer a card then. I don't have a credit card or anything. I was wondering if I could use a gift card to buy a gift card but I checked and it won't let me do that either.
