Question for those using Blogger

I was wondering if those who use Blogger could tell me, if someone follows you post via email, does it notify you?  I use wordpress, and I know many people tend to follow a blog if that blog follows you, but I do not know how that works with these cross-platform deals.

As far as I know, blogger doesn't notify you when someone follows be email. I like to do follow for follows as well, but sometimes that isn't possible and also, not everyone expects it.

I am on wordpress, and their follower system is very different.  I also have the networkedblogs setup on mine, and anyone who follows me, i try to follow back, but it is harder when they are on blogger.
