Hi,
I have a blogtalk radio show. Usually the guests I have are authors, some of them are graphic novelists, a few bloggers.
My question is: What interesting, insightful questions can I ask them other than just "what is your writing process?"
As a listener ,what would like to listen to?
Thanks for your time!

Oh I'm so glad!
Being a children's author I'm really interested in what can influence a child enough for it to show up as they are adults.
It's humbling to think something you may write for a toddler even, may stay with them forever!

Hi, Giovanni.
I've done a couple of interviews and everyone seems to ask the same questions. As a reader, I would love to know more about what led the author to a particular story or character. We all get inspiration somewhere, and I am interested where people get theirs. Who have they been influenced by and how much of themselves do they infuse into every character.
I would love to appear on your program. If you have any desire to interview me, just send me a message through book blogs.

I, also, would be interested in being interviewed. Please let me know if this is of interest to you.

Thanks for posting an interesting question

If they are an author, here is 4 basic question to asked. Even if you didn't read their book.
When did you began writing?
What inspire you to write your first book? (Blogger~ What inspire to start a blog?)
Tell us about yourself.
What message do you want readers to grasp from your book (blog)?

When did you know you wanted to become a writer?
When did you finally consider yourself a writer?
Who, if anyone, influenced your decision to become a writer?
Okay..now I have a question.. I'm a bit technically challenged (getting better though). How does one interview authors for a blog radio? I mean how to you connect with each other to carry on a conversation? I would love to do a radio interview on someone's blog show, but I have no idea how that would work. I'm having a virtal book tour starting Aug 12-20 for my Christian romantic suspense novel, Deadly Image and I had thought about trying to do an interview on a blog radio show, but was a bit intimidated by the fact I didn't know how that would work. The best I could come up with was an author reading of the first few pages of my book using Cinch and my iphone. I have that on my website, but a live or pre-recorded interview was a strethc for me..
