How do you find out how many email followers you have?

I don't think you can get a separate number for email followers this way. If you can, post it. Please.

If you use Blogger, then this will tell you how many you have for both email and RSS combined. (If you use this service, which I think most do.) www.feedburner.com

Put up a blog post that says you will give 5000 gold sovereigns to everyone who shows up at your door on X (date) between the hours of X and Y with a printed copy of the blog post in hand. That should give you some idea. . . .

I'm not sure myself, but if you're curious how many email subscribers actually read your blog, take a look at your stats and you can see if any of the sources are from email hosts.

I think it depends what system you have set up. I use Wordpress (hosted) and use an Feedburner email plugin so people can follow me that way. All I have to do is log into my Feedburner account (part of Google) and it will tell me how many followers I have and what their email addresses are.
