I recently got into my hands a couple of upcoming titles to review, something that I'm completely thrilled about because I find it cool to be able to read (and then talk about) such great books months before their release date.
However, I also got into my head that perhaps they should be treated differently than books that have already been published and the world has already gotten wind of them through different marketing methods and probably already read their own copies or one they got from their local library.
This is probably ridiculous on my part.
Still though, what are your thoughts on reviewing galleys (or ARC's as they're also commonly called)? Do YOU treat them any differently then you would books that have already been released? Or is it all the same cup of tea to you?
As my favorite author Ted Dekker would say: "Be heard".:)
Share your thoughts below! I'm interested in what you have to say.
