I'm not quite sure how to tackle reviewing series books, particularly those that are continuous, (ie, Sookie Stackhouse/Gossip Girl). I try to give each book its own analysis and small plot summary, but my reviews seem to get shorter with each book because I don't have as much to say as I read the books.
What do you do when you reviews series books? Do you give each book a full review?
Not to mention you are probably trying to avoid too many spoilers that might give away previous books' plot points. It can be challenging reviewing series books, I agree. Something I've done when the opportunity arises is review multiple series books at once. It's made things a little easier in some respects.
I give each one I read a separate review. I tend to space out my reviews by a month or more so I can think about the book separately from the series. I don't though feel compelled to review each and everyone in the series.
Well I probably do book posts wrong anyway but I tend to just babble about each book. I for the most part avoid mentioning exactly what happens. Since I tend to read series together there usually isn't that much time between them although it depends on what I'm reading.
