TO POST YOUR ARCHIVES OR NOT TO POST HOW BENEFICIAL ARE THEY??

I was wondering how beneficial it truly is to have the Archive widget posted on the sidebar of your blog. To me it just takes up space and if you already have the labels widget on your sidebar do you really need the archives as well?

 

I know I never click on the archives for the blogs I follow. Are they important to have or are they unecessary and just take up space?

 

I'm curious to know what everyone thinks.

I just made a "Reviews in a Glance page http://manoflabook.com/wp/?page_id=318

It's a bit more work but I think more beneficial, easier to use and less confusing than a archive widget.
Not to mention a space saver :)
