Using Labels on a Blog

The labels I use on my blog at the end of each post appear in a column on the sidebar, which is a good thing. However, the list is getting much too long. Is there a way to insert a break so it's continued  elsewhere?

I don't think there's a way in Blogger to insert a break in the labels list, but there are a few things you can do to make the list fit better. You can configure the list so that only certain labels show in it or you can display the list as a cloud rather than a straight list. You can also set the overall template of the blog to include two sidebars, either both on the same side or one on each side. You could also move some of the lists that are currently in your sidebar to their own pages on the blog. Just browsing through the blogs on Blogger may reveal some other creative ways people have come up with to solve the list problem.

Thankyou Dan.. I just eliminated a lot of labels and now have the cloud formation. It's still long, but a little better..a work in progress, I guess. I'm looking into the page idea too. Thanks

I use a cloud, too. And I try not to get too specific with the labels unless it's a sub-genre I read often and will post about fairly regularly.

Thanks Monika...and Thankyou for following.. I was unable to follow your blog though....
I am using the cloud now...but it's still long.Wish there was a way to insert a break, but guess not.
