Ways to promote young adult fiction blog?

I've found myself becoming really, really confused on what my blog is. I'm a writer and I have a blog where I post chapters of my story each week. I haven't found any successful way to get my blog/story none. I do have readers and I've gotten many views but I really don't know any other ways to promote it or what my blog is referred to as. I now know it isn't considered book blog.. 

Any help... or advice?

When you're finished you book, you might consider going on a blog tour, I arrange them and you can view a page further explaining book blog tours here.

 

In terms of promoting your blog, I would suggest writing meaningful comments on other blogs. Also, twitter is very useful for promoting a blog, I would suggest you get an account if you haven't already.
