I posted a blog on here saying some of my plans for my blog and what I plan on reading. I'm trying to hit 100 books read so far. I know I'll go beyond that. Maybe work on 200 books read. But its a slow process right now being I'm only posting twice a month.
Working on trying to read new authors, whether its new authors or someone I've read a long time back. I've got series to finish reading and books to think about getting. I quit my list of books for now and working on just adding new authors and stories. Hoping to add books that others haven't read before or post about a book that has been already been posted by others.
What's your plan for the New Year when it comes to your blogs and reading?
Hello Qiana,I would love to help you promote your book by having you as a guest blogger on my site and I would to talk about my book as a guest blogger on your site as well.

1. I will be taking a slow speed with the weekly memes and book tours so I can focus my efforts on reading as well as reviewing books I’ve read in 2011. I plan to read and review at least 50 in 2012.
2. I will expand the genres I covered in the past four months to include short stories (especially by Filipino authors), essays, young adult fiction, and classics (my first love).
3. I will take the time to read more Asian literature and work hard on my poetry appreciation (those good old poems can really be frustratingly mind-boggling when they want to!).
4. I will provide more news and updates related to Philippine stories and Filipino authors.
5. I will open up my blog to more book bloggers and authors through guest posts, guest reviews, features, and giveaways.
I made a post of the above plans - Goodbye to 2011, Hello to 2012
Happy New Year to everyone!

I'm planning on participating in three year-long reading challenges during 2012, as well as some readalongs and seasonal challenges. I finally got an e-reader, so I'd like to start using NetGalley on occasion to review newer releases. I'd also like to start a monthly poetry spotlight.
I would like to read and review thrilling and non friction books of 2012, I love reading thrilling, non-friction books which would excite me and wouldn't let me keep the book down till I finish the book.
I wish I could read 100 books a year! Right now I'm trying to finish up my reading as I'm about to start the next semester of school -- which means that I'll be doing only schoolish reading. :) I plan to keep up my blog (I post 3 days a week) as I have for the last year, despite school, but otherwise, all the books that I want to read will have to wait until summer. I do enjoy reading new authors and found several new favourites this year, as well as a few books by authors I've liked for a while (check out http://thekoalabearwriter.blogspot.com/2011/12/best-books-of-2011.html). Good luck with your reading and blogging plans!
That kinda sounds like mine....I plan to read and RECORD (that the hard part) on goodreads at least 100 books this year...I did 65 last year, but I know I read more than that. As for my blog...well I'm trying a bunch of New authors....they're so much fun....I love to see what they have to offer. Of course I'll still throw in a few of my faves and a bunch of hops.
I have some goals, but I'm afraid that by stating them, I'll curse myself into not accomplishing them. Oh well, the people around here seem supportive...
For my blog Battle Hymns I hope to 1) gain a few more steady followers. 2) Increase traffic to the blog. 3) Increase my writing and reviewing skills. 4) write more reviews....which means I gotta read more too I guess! 5) Connect with some more fantasy authors and/or comic writers or artists for some interviews...that would be super sweet.
Cheers! Best of luck to everyone in reaching your goals!
