Whats the process of publishing a book?

I want to write a book, well to be technical i have already started that process. I'm actually very young and inexperience.

But as my story boils down to the end, i realize i so armature at the process of true novel development.

I just want some insight on the process. Not only that.

I would love if some one take a look at some of the writings I've done in the past.

This site has a few short stories i wrote when i was about 15 (I'm 17 now). I post on the bottom of the page the very first chapter of my book i intend to publish. (if only i knew how to)

A Book i actually started writing when i was sixteen but stopped. I intend to finish this one for my high school friends of whom i promised ill give them. The book is about them and our adventures in high school. 

Please tell me the process of publishing and how my writing is. I would appreciative of it. I'll love to know if im even good enough to publish a book. Is a curious wonder of mines.
