Hello all,
Right now I currently have 2 blogs. One for my daily life things and one for my book reviews. I personally don't like keeping them seperate since I feel that my reading goes into my everday life.
So the question is this:
1. Keep the blogs the way they are (1 blog for personal life, 1 blog for book reviews)
2. Bring both of the blogs togther and keep it like that! And just use 1 name!
3. Other?
Please let me know your thoughts on this. I don't really want to make more work for myself. But, I'm not to sure what author's and other people look for. I would love to have author's ask me to read their books and do reviews for them. Would love to host a blogtour, do mimes, etc. Any help would be great!
Thanks all for your time!
Tammy

Put them together. It's too much to do separately. For family and friends, use Facebook and limit it to those you know. The book blog can have splashes of your personal life, too. I think readers get tired of just reading reviews on blog pages...they like to feel as if they know you, too. Good luck!

Permalink Reply by Kristian Alva on June 26, 2011 at 6:43pm I prefer to keep them separate. My book reviews and book related posts go on one blog, and everything else goes on my presonal site. I think it's better that way. And really, Blogger doesn't charge for the extra website, so why worry?

Hi. For me personally, I like to keep only one blog so I don't have to maintain two sites. I post author interviews on Mondays, Guest bloggers Tues - Thursdays and twice a month on Fridays, I post book reviews I've done and the other two Fridays are my Readers Corners days. If you ever wanted to guest on my blog, just let me know. Here's the link: http://joannetroppello.weebly.com/blog.html.

Permalink Reply by Tammy on July 1, 2011 at 8:25am Hello Dimitri,
I do not know if any of the messages are getting through to you or not. Everytime I have pushed send to write to you, it seems that it is not working.
If you would not mind sending me a personal message and maybe we could try it that way. If not I can try and give you my personal e-mail address!
The best way if this does not work is to click on the following list and fill out the FORM: http://reviewsbythedragonsden.com/review-guidelines/
Hope to hear from you soon!
Permalink Reply by C.R. Cummings on June 30, 2011 at 11:24am I had two separate blogs then, to be more efficient, I merged them only to separate them again. I have my own domain so, I re-created a separate book blog under a subdomain. I will never merge them again and I'm probably more efficient. I just needed my book blog to have and maintain its own identity. Also, the platform I use makes it super easy to go back and forth between the two sites. Best of luck to you.
