If you could switch lives with any literary character, who would it be?

Would you go with somebody who is a lot like you, just more well-written?

Or would you go with something totally fantastical, a life completely unlike your own?

I blogged about my choices, and I'd like to hear yours :)

I think I'd be someone from a Sarah Dessen book - her characters are always very normal (but never boring!), but they always get the most amazing boyfriends / make up with their friends / parents / make the right decision in the end.
I would be Gandolf from the Lord Of the Rings Triology. He is a wise man who cares about mankind and their destination. These are qualities I admire.
I would choose to be the Proverbs 31 woman. New author Robert Blacke wrote a book dedicated to his mom who displayed characteristics of the proverbs 31 woman. He breaks the scripture into short stories each with a scripture reference.
He defines 'woman' as a phenomenal.woman.
I would like to be Princess Mia from the Princess Diaries.  She has a fairly awesome life.  Most of the other characters I love have crazy stressful lives so I wouldn't want to be them.

I think I might go for one of the wizards in the Harry Potter books (maybe Ginny Weasley).  I'd still get all the comforts of modern life but with the added bonus of magic mixed in!

Great question!  Definitely heading over to check out your blog!

What a fun blog! It was great to read all of the comments and see who wants to be what.

I think I am most like Hermoine Granger from the Harry Potter series, in that my first response to something is "Look it up." However, for the lifestyle, I would want to be Caroline Bingley from Pride and Prejudice, but I would be much nicer than she. :)

I would be Miss Marple from the pen of Agatha Christie or Karen Blixen in Out of Africa or Elinor Dashwood in Sense & Sensibility. They are really good characters.
