If you could switch lives with any literary character, who would it be?

Would you go with somebody who is a lot like you, just more well-written?

Or would you go with something totally fantastical, a life completely unlike your own?

I blogged about my choices, and I'd like to hear yours :)

Most of the characters whom I love most, like Scarlett O'Hara, lived in dangerous times. Or lived back when they didn't have indoor plumbing and antibiotics. :(

Great topic, though. I'm going to check your blog out.

That would put a damper on things, wouldn't it?

Maybe your life could be a modern adaptation of a classic... like Clueless was of Emma, or Bridget Jones of Pride and Prejudice?

That would work for me. :)

I wouldn't mind switching lives with someone who's rich and secure, but who's made some bad decisions in their personal life, so I could see whether I could do any better. Heck, at this point I wouldn't mind switching lives with someone who owns their own house.

Very interesting thought! I'll have to think about this, and come back with my answer. Sounds smart, right? Really, I just can't make up my mind.
I loved your post about this, so adorable!
I want superpowers and immortality. So a character from a sci-fi book.
Any Mills and Boon modern romance hero- they are always billionaires, tycoons, millionaires or princes.
Yea, that sounds like fun!!

Wow, I never thought about who I would want to be.. Hmmm? One second Im thinking...........

That would be hard for me being that I read more mystery, crime, and thrillers. Most of the characters are bad guys and I wouldnt want anyone to think I'm crazy or a killer,

So Im going to go with Jane From Miss Jane Pittman. She is some what like me. A very powerful and smart person. She has endured hard times and still has come out on top. Yea. Im thinking Jane...

I've spent the past year and a half obsessively writing a book series - 4 books in so far and about to send book one for publishing.  After eating it, sleeping it and rewriting it God knows how many times, I honestly couldn't imagine being anyone other than the main character in my own books.  AWKWARD!  - she's a gril - me - I'm a dude.   A very straight dude.  Arrg.

I have always been a huge fan of the vampire kisses series so if I could be any character I would love to be Raven from that series. She is cool and has a really romantic boyfriend haha

Great topic. I drift towards people who are different than me, especially when I used to act but when I read, I like people who are little like me. I didn't realize that until you asked the question. Hmm, interesting!
