Hello good day!

Have you, a friend or a loved one ever experience a job loss?  Or maybe you spend 90% of your day daydreaming and fantasizing about your dreams because they mean that much to you; however, you are doing this while on the clock! Or are you trapped in a 9-5 but cannot quit because it pays the bills BUT you wanna tell your boss to kiss your... Well if you answered yes to either of these statements,  I invite you to read "Congratulations! You Just Lost Your J.O.B"

This book is available on LuLu, Smashwords and Amazon. Simply go to to order!

Written and compiled by LaSean Rinique Shelton, ‘CONGRATULATIONS! YOU JUST LOST YOUR J.O.B!’ brings together a group of ‘dedicated entrepreneurs’ to prove that losing a job can dramatically change anyone’s life for the better. While most see a ‘Job’ as the road to prosperity and security, the book’s authors rightfully redefine the word as J.O.B: “Just Over Broke” or “Juggling Overdue Bills”. Want to find out why? Read on!

In this economy, many of those who are struggling would do anything for work. Equally, those who are employed view losing their jobs as a life-destroying dread. However, a group of self-titled ‘dedicated entrepreneurs’ have banded together in a powerful new book to make it clear that losing one’s job can easily become their ticket and fast-track to a better life.

J Collins, used tire distributor thinks he couldn’t have met Rachel Patterson, non-profit director of The Dreamcatcher’s Organization under a more embarrassing circumstance. If the first impression is everything, then J is sure she will be clutching her purse and crossing to the opposite side of the street at the sight of him. He soon learns his assumption is quite accurate when he repeatedly meets Rachel in the elevator of the building where they both reside. For Rachel, these untimely meetings are a constant reminder of why good men are in such short supply. That is until the elevator breaks leaving J and her stranded inside. J and Rachel soon agree these meetings of chance are better described as divine appointments. However, the people in their worlds disagree especially when J becomes an expendable casualty of an evil plan devised against The Dreamcatcher’s Organization. J and Rachel’s faith is tested beyond measure to hold on to God and each other when the truth about J’s past is exposed and a past love of Rachel’s comes to Richmond, Virginia with an agenda of his own.

Wed. May 27, 2015-  Fri. May 30, 2015 @ Jarvis Center in New York

Authors, are you dreaming of Going to BookExpo America?

You'll want to read this!

Okay, so by now you know I share news about marketing efforts for Authors. - Why? I do this because I know first hand how hard it can be to get noticed. With that written, I am going to share with you another opportunity.

This opportunity comes in increments of 10. - Meaning if you are the 11th and final author to respond, you will not be able to participate but if you are the 11th out 20 authors to respond, you made the cut! - Get ready.

My friend is Carol Rogers and she is a book distributor. - She also sponsors spaces at various book fairs and events in New York throughout the year.

If any of you have looked at the price of going it alone to the Book Expo America 2015 - You know the following:

a. Spots are going fast.

b. It will cost you between,-1,200 to 2,500 USD not including lodging and food or the extras offered.

c. Anybody who is anyone in the industry usually attends this at least one.

d. It is possible to make a deal that will launch your career to a new level.

e. Hotels are booking fast for this event. I called two weeks ago and one hotel only had two rooms left.

Bottom line: Carol is sponsoring spaces that will rotate at her table. She is looking for 10 authors or 20 authors or 30 authors (you get the picture) who want the VIP package. The cost will be between $550 and $650. - That's more than 50% off you trying to do this alone.  - $300 is due by September 20, 2014. She will let you know the details.

Interested? - Contact Carol at or for more info.

Guess what? - I am taking the 1st slot. - Do I have 9 more authors that will join me?

Hello Everyone:

I am here to tell you about Quillbook - It is a place where authors can promote their books with book-trailers. Granted, it is new! However, the first 25 authors to follow them on twitter will have the opportunity to promote their book trailer on the you-tube channel for life. - Every bit helps especially if you are an indie author.

All you need to do is follow and if selected, they will send you an email asking for a MP4 format of your book trailer. - They take care of the rest! -
