I am a new author driven to write my memoir because of all the mystery and suspense destiny threw my way...not to mention the agony. I began it right after my mother's agonizing death from Altzheimer's and 9/11 happened in close proximity. It was either write or crater. I chose to write for almost a decade before I finally felt it was ready to publish. I currently have a passion to write a book for girls that have low self-esteem, in unhealthy relationships, are trying to find their identities in guys, and have turned to drugs to numb their reality. I want to help them with what I have been through and let them know I completely understand and share with them what helped me. I want to put my poetry in the book as well as music that turned me around all because of faith. Hopefully give them faith that God can and will rescue them from their mental labyrinth.

I am an author/writer and I wrote the book "My life as a WEED..and weeds ( words ) to live by..it is a reflection of life experiences, I choose the metaphor "WEED"because they are survivors, as am I.....good job ..A..

I posted the opening to my book, "Safe Under the Willow" on my blog. Begins with Chapter 1. It is a flashback "Jillian" has of her childhood. I hope to gain some interest! More to come in the near future! http://safeunderthewillow.blogspot.com/2011/05/chapter-1-opening.html
