I am an indie author with four books available for sale on Amazon.com.  The fifth is coming very soon.  I am looking for some pointers on how to market my books.  I am terrible at self-promotion and need all the help I can get.  I would greatly welcome any advice.

I have the same question. shelfari, goodreads, and book blogs are good for networking with fellow authors but are not necessarily effective for sales. All this takes too much time away from writing in my view. I am trying to balance it all- job, writing and marketing! Not easy.
