I am currently looking for books to review. I read a lot of different things, so I'll tell you what I won't read instead:
-I do not review erotica. I don't read much historical. I'm not big into heavy gore. I don't read non-fiction unless it appeals to me in some way. (Cooking. Cleaning. Kids. Things like that.)
I review kids books, MG, YA, and adult that isn't erotica. My favorite is adult and YA, but I do have a four year old so I do intermingle young books with her. If it's young enough for her she may add in her input into the review.:)
Just leave me your title name, genre, book description and link. Do mention my name (MJ) so I know it's not a copy/paste job to thousands of other bloggers at the same time.
Just email me at melanie@newpathsuntaken.com. I don't accept every book, but if I do accept yours, I will contact you back.
You can check out my blog at http://newpathsuntaken.com to decide if I am the reviewer for you. Thanks.

MJ- I love your blog! I really liked the post about the sandwich and yoghurt shop- it made me laugh. I would love for you to review my first novel, Gemini Rising, when it's released in spring/summer 2013! It is a YA paranormal/fiction with a dash of romance. Please let me know if you are interested based on the description below. Thank you!

I have the right fit for you. My Temperature Trilogy is perfect. The link is for Amazon, but I do publish with Smashwords in order to offer coupons (Amazon doesn't let me give coupons unless I'm enrolled in their KDP program). Let me know if you're interested and I'll cook up some free copies.

Hey MJ. Just saw the post. I wrote a few short stories (less than 600 words). The first is Conversing with Normality. The next is Conversing with Salvation. The third is miscarried
Conversing with Salvation is a short story I wrote based on a conversation I had between me and God. I was wondering how my son can be saved if he may not truly understand the goodness of God. He is autistic and ADHD.
Conversing with Normality is about a conversation based on me and my oldest son again. It was based on a conversation about food.
Miscarried was about my two miscarriages.
both books are available on Smashwords. I can generate a free coupon for each book if interested.

Hey MJ!
I only have one book and it is kind of unusual. It is a memoir, autobiography nonfiction book written by a horse. I helped the poor old guy write it, he was having trouble navigating the computer. It is the story of an old rescued ranch horse and all lthe amazing things he did after he was rescued. The best part is that he is still with us at the ripe old age of 38! You can check it out here http://www.outskirtspress.com/pie/ Let me know if this is something you might be interested in. Thanks for your time.

I would definitely be interested in this book. It sounds wonderful. You can reach me at scantlinhuber@gmail.com

Thank you for your interest. I will be contacting via the address you sent. It is really hard to know who to contact about reviews about my book. I don't want to annoy anyone, but it seems there is not a niche of reviewers for my type of book. Everyone who has gotten their hands on it has loved it, so it must be okay. I am new to all of this and just kind of stumbling through it all. I don't want Pie's story to suffer due to my inexperience. I have managed to get it posted on a blog of inspiration books and a love of horses with full page ads. Yea! Thanks for your kind words and interest once again. Kandy

Dear MJ:
Would you like to review my adult literary novel, COLORADO MANDALA?
As a published Poet, I truly think I may have something really delightful for you and your readers: COLORADO MANDALA is a psychological love triangle that takes place during the tumultuous 1970s. Michael Boyd Atman, a Green Beret in Viet Nam is forced to kill his partner because his brother Officer snaps during combat. Then when Atman returns to the USA he seeks out his partner's widow to see if he can secretly put things right. When he cannot make her happy, he drafts in a young hippie, "understudy", to try and complete the lonely widow's life and happiness. But this sets off an even larger conflict, and all of this action and drama is set within the beautiful and picturesque valley of Pike's Peak, Colorado. COLORADO MANDALA is a literary novel with romance and adventure that will compel and engage its readers regarding a little known period of American life, the "hippie time". An era that has no novel that has actually captured and delineated its nuances and flavors: COLORADO MANDALA is that book because it depicts that time in authentic detail between book covers for the very first time. It is already creating a prepublication reviewers sensation. (https://www.facebook.com/ColoradoMandala?ref=hl). But fortunately, since the book comes out on approx. 3/1/13 there is still plenty of lead time to do a nice blog piece with lots of diverse audience grabbing facets, and perhaps pictures? Please let me know your thoughts and thank you in advance for any assistance you may be able to provide. I look forward to hearing from you, and am wishing you and yours a great new year. : )
This is luck and light from
