Tentative Giveaways
All giveaways here are subject to change. When you fill out the form to participate in BlogFest, it asks what your giveaway will be. Those responses can be found here.
My hope is that this will provide some inspiration for those trying to figure out what they to do for a giveaway. Remember, an epic giveaway will typically draw in more traffic, although any giveaway will technically suffice for the event.
Don't worry, I'm not attaching the giveaways to anyone's name, except mine. That way it will be easier on those who may need to adjust their giveaway closer to the actual event date.
My giveaway: I will be giving away a signed copy of an upcoming YA adult book (basically, whatever I can get my hands on). Along with that the winner will be able to choose one book of their choice. Furthermore, for every 100 followers I gain, I will add another book of your choice to the giveaway.
The last time I ran a giveaway like this I had 322 individuals sign up and I gave away five books, all pre-orders.
The List:

- I am a book junkie and a coffee addict-hence the name and nature of my blog. I enjoy a wide range of genres and simply enjoy talking books! After scouring the internet for good book reviews and encountering many frustrating spoilers, I decided to delve into the work of book blogging. I became hooked on blogging when I blog-hopped my way through Blogmania just a few months ago! I love being able to post reviews in order to help others decide on books as well as be able to read insightful reviews from those who enjoy my type of novels. But not to be overlooked is my love for coffee. My blog incorporates both book reviews and coffee tips. After all, a good cup of coffee is the only thing missing from a good read, in my book.

- We have given away everything from authographed copies of books to gift cards to CDs. I am not exactly sure what it will be this time...just definitely something appealing to book lovers!
- I'll be having a month-long birthday bash during the blogfest, so there will be lots of prizes. Dunno which one I'll give away specifically on these days.
- Tentatively, we'll give away the first three books in the Vampire Bablyon series by Chris Marie Green (it completes a full story arc). We may add to this as we get a little closer.
- Custom made Crochet hat of winners choice. plenty to choose from. Newborn to adult, toque, brimmed or slouchy. Lots of colors to choose from.
- A new book of some sort not sure which one yet.
- A choice of fall YA releases.
- A gardening goody basket which will include signed copies of my first three mysteries.
- Because I don't have a book out yet, received permission from my cousin, A. C. Ellis to give away one copy each of his ebooks (3 sf, 1 mystery/suspense, and a short story collection.) They will be in .pdf format, and will be awarded ramdomly. The rules will be available on my blog on the days of the blogfest.

Okay, first my co-partner Natalie handles all the giveaways and PR stuff... she has decided we will have 2 giveaways for the blogfest :)
1 We are going to giveaway a book bag with "I'd So Rather Be Reading" on the front. a tee to match (winner to specify size), a copy of one of our "Stalker Worthy" books from our book reviews and book marks.
2 We are going to giveaway a "Wellness" tote filled with: pedometer, coupons, bookmarks and a cookbook (TBA) signed by it's author, and any other goodies we decide on (Since we are Dietitians' it was only fitting to do a themed nutrition giveaway). -
