BEDROCK -by- Britney King is FREE for a limited time only!  Get this fantastic love story today!!

When Addison Greyer, a happily married mother of three, decides to re-enter the workforce, she never once considers that taking a job might unravel everything she thinks to be true about her life--that it would cause her to look deep within and confront fears she didn't know existed. She couldn't have foreseen how a chance meeting or a single day can change the course of an entire lifetime.

Like many women, Addison is defined in terms of marriage and motherhood, until she suddenly finds her life turned upside down by her husband's decision to take a job thousands of miles away. When her tough-as-nails boss offers her an opportunity she can't refuse, Addie is forced to make difficult choices. Those choices take her further and further out of the carefully crafted fairytale life she has created and lead her into an unknown world where things are anything but black and white: a world where she learns that desire is not only dangerous but deadly. In this world, all bets are off as she is forced to finally confront her past. As her past and present collide, she has to make decisions that for most are unthinkable, decisions that can tear her family apart, and perhaps even have fatal consequences.
Bedrock is a love story designed to showcase how the choices we make ultimately shape our lives. It serves as a reminder that in the end what defines us is not the big events, the monumental occasions. It's the tiny, seemingly inconsequential moments in between. It's proof that time passes and we cannot, no matter how hard we try, get it back. Bedrock is a story of love and grief that pretty much sums up the context of the human experience.

During the past year I kept seeing a book called Stay by Emily Goodwin and I will admit the cover kind of threw me off a bit as a potential read for me, but I threw caution to the wind and picked up the book. Holy Crap my expectations were blown out of the water, it was such a dark contemporary read that I could not put the book down.Check Out my Interview & Giveaway (INT) with her.

A Pet for Christmas by Rachelle Ayala (Sweet Holiday Romance) (A Veteran's Christmas Book 2) ''tears ran down my face at the ending-very happy & hopeful'' reviews Miki's Hope .....

"It will come as no surprise to anyone familiar with my blog that I love Rachel Ayala's books. This continues the story of a Father for Christmas. This one had me holding my breath and praying a lot! He gets in a load of really hot water----Meanwhile 5 year old Bree has told Santa what she really wants for Christmas and Santa tells her never to tell anyone else!! You will totally understand when you do find out what it is! I found myself with tears running down my face at the ending-very happy and hopeful tears. Rachelle Ayala has done it again!! These two short novels are a must read!!

And one final last word--G-d Bless ALL the veterans from all the wars-they are truly heroes."

Our Book Review on Renewal "Anytime" 10 Day Detox by Lisa Consiglio Ryan Whole Health Designs

"This was such a thoroughly planned out book by the author, it guides you through the detox programme very easily, leaving you with the confidence to actually start it on your own. She has such a friendly approach in the book, it's as if she is right there beside you willing you on. She does highly encourage you to first fully read the book BEFORE starting the detox, so you can grasp all the information for the best possible outcome, I took advantage of this whilst on my holiday to do just that and I was ready to begin when I returned.

I found Renewal Anytime very straightforward to follow, full of quick recipes that genuinely sound tasty and enjoyable, answers to common questions, along with plenty of tips and advice. The daily menu's are already planned out for you, breakfast, mid-morning snack, lunch, mid-afternoon snack and dinner, Don't be concerned about not liking a particular recipe as the author has also included extra recipes in case you want to substitute. Lisa has literally thought of everything you could possibly need to ensure your detox goes as smoothly as possible, even when you finish your detox and may think to yourself 'now what?' Lisa has included recipes so you can continue the progress you have made.

It's not all about food of course and Lisa advices you on other beneficial ways to help the detox work better, such as daily body brushing, stretching, exercising, drinks.

One tip, if your anything like me, I started listing all the ingredients I would need to begin, but there is no need as Lisa has already prepared the shopping list for you. Some books I have had in the past have lots of ingredients I have never heard of. not to detox but to simply eat healthy, so it was quite a pleasant surprise to see all the familiar items on the shopping list.

On our return from holiday both hubbie and I started the detox and we are currently on day 4. We've found the recipes easy to make, tasty and we're not feeling hungry in between meals and snacks, so let the re-balance begin! Watch out for my follow up post xx"
