I'd like to take time to remove my cap (don't look at my bald spot) and pay tribute to those who spend their valuable time blogging and reviewing books (and maybe even reading them :) ) As an author, you guys are heroes to me. Trying to get a book into the public eye is not easy. Finding this site is one of the best things Ive done in my marketing efforts.

I can't believe I never thought of this - but two of the bloggers here put a blurb on their sites about me giving away my ebooks free. (One of them even put all my book covers on her page (way beyond the call of duty - but totally awesome) Just putting a little blurb with a link is pretty easy, requires no reading or reviewing on your behalf, but gives yours readers a chance to peruse the books and find what they want. The good news about free books is that you can start them and quit if you don't like them without wasting money. I would be pleased as punch (whatever degree of pleasure that signifies) if any of the rest of you would inform your readers about a chance to get free ebooks. Thank you again for all you do - even if you decide not to mention my books.

BTW: Has someone compiled a list of all the bloggers and their links? If not, that sounds like a noble effort. I'd be glad to create that and put it on my website so I can help promote you guys as well.
Take care and happy blogging.

I am moving my blog from the today.com blogs and I need some material until I can get matters settled with them I would love to write up a post for you. Send me message with what you want me to put in the post. I am still working on learning how to use the new site and have started working on redirecting my traffic there.

I would also be interested in that list of links to book bloggers

Hi Carrie,
Thanks for responding. How is this?

Ebooks are free everyday from author Donald James Parker who specializes in young adult coming-of-age stories with Christian influence, romance, and lots of humor. You can read all the synopsis, read the reviews, and peruse all eight book covers at http://DonaldJamesParker.com If you see something you like, there is another link to take you to the download page where two clicks will load the book into Acrobat reader on your computer so you can save it on your machine.

Just don't forget me whenever you have the chance to promote me, as well.

And thank YOU for the Thank you :)

That is a great idea. I'm going to start a post about bloggers blogging books. If you could leave your link (Site Name, your name) that would be a good start. Mr. Linky is on this link.

If I can figure out how to put Mr. Linky here....I'll let you know and you can link there, too.

Hello everyone.

I assume I was the blogger Donald was mentioning in regards to using all his book covers, since I did that. I had a great time with the post, and am more than happy to do any future posts.

Here is the link for my post with Donald James Parker, if anyone is interested,

I started doing this a whle back because there was no way I could review every book. It was my way of saying thank you for the offer and providing some free publicity. I run the spot every Monday, I call it Melting Pot Monday, because it includes books in every genre.
Here is my link..
