While trying to rearrange the order of the gadgets on my sidebar one of the gadgets keeps jumping up the the header and then I can't get it back to the sidebar. Anybody know why this might be happening?

Also, someone told me that they couldn't find a button on my blog to follow me. Does the "Follow Me" button not appear on my blog? If so, how do I add it?

And finally, are there any buttons or gadgets that I should be adding to my blog?

I don't know what the deal is with the gadget that won't move, unless maybe it's so wide it doesn't fit in the sidebar? I dunno.

The follow-me widget does not appear on your blog automatically, you do have to add it. Now, people can follow you by adding your URL to their list, but it makes it easier for people if you add the widget. To add it, just click on "add a gadget" and blogger will open up a menu. When I do it, the "Follower" gadget is the first one in that list. If you don't see it, you can search for it in the pop-up menu (upper right corner).

There's lots of stuff you can add, but I think the one you need most is a blogroll. It's kind of a convention that you linke to the blogs you like, and then others will link to you in theirs.; ▶ Reply to This
