Hey Guys!

So I've been steadily gaining followers and blog traffic over the last month due to your awesome suggestions!

Now, it's time for another question :) - I've seen a bunch of bloggers participate in blog tours. I've found a couple websites with information on joining, but what resources do you use?

Websites? Word of mouth? Other blogs?

I'm looking for fantasy or YA blog tours specifically, too.

I appreciate any info that you can give me! Thanks!!

I joined Bewitching Book Tours run by Roxanne Rhoads. She provides you with a badge/button, author pic and bio, an entire media press kit. She does fantasy and paranormal romance. You sign up only for the tours that you are interested in.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by resources. BWT provides a press kit, as I mentioned, and advertises your blog as part of the tour. I use the badge she sends, adding it to my blog about 2 weeks before the review/interview/guest post. I also tweet about it. I don't have a newsletter but if you have one, you would certainly talk up the book tour there. Additionally, most authors will post a link to your blog as part of their promo efforts.

Ok awesome! Thanks so much for the info! By resources, I meant ways to sign up with a book tour- like a variety of websites that do that. Is there some sort of blog tour directory somewhere?

Thanks again! :)

Aaah, ok. That I don't know, but maybe Google "blog book tours" and see what you get?

So far, I have found Book Blogs itself is a good source. Through groups such as Blog Tours and Network Your Blog, I have already found two May tours. One includes books for young people. There may be other useful groups too.

If you search Google for book tours, you should also find other potential sources. Just now, I found two: one is called Book Tours and another is called Virtual Book Tours. I don't enough about either to recommend them. With all of my examples, you will need to dig to find those specifically catering to young adults.

Sorry I cannot be of more help. I am new to the book tour world too, but is why I am excited to find ones right here on Book Blogs.

I organize a variety of blog tours.  Go to the websitehttp://www.virtualauthorbooktours.com/2011/01/tour-hosts.html and fill in the Tour Host Interest Form, to sign up.
Done! Thanks for the info.

I'm part of a monthly blog chain that starts fresh again tomorrow for June with our topic being "fresh air." We average 15-20 participants and we each read one post a month from each person on our topic.

I also do weekly interviews with authors every Tuesday. Just posted an interview with Brandie LaGarde on my blog about her writing experiences and what led her to write her first book. Stop by for a quick read at http://thewritechris.blogspot.com.

Majanka over at http://booklog.eternalised.net/ runs a book blog tour last I checked. You could contact her and ask to join =)

Very very thrilled to welcome L.J. Sellers. She is touring for her latest bookThe Arranger on the virtual space and since I have read the book i'd say she has done a great job - a clever manipulation of the scenarios in the book. I would definitely suggest you people to try it. Well without a further wait....I present before you all the good stuffs.....read on and be surprised.
