Wednesday is the weird weekday...Saturdays and Sundays are still pretty steady for me.

I am going to work more on my scheduling...I also like the idea of prescheduling, it just is impossible for me to do a week ahead of time. I think I'll go for doing a few days at a time.
Saturday has never been a big traffic day for me as I never post anything on that day for religious reasons. Across all of my blogs, then general pattern seems to be a spike on Monday that slowly declines all week.
I try not to do book reviews etc on Saturday and Sunday because of the traffic dip. I have huge dips in my stats on Saturday and Sunday. I'd love to preschedule too. I'm just not that on top of things yet!
I don't always feel like having a lot of comments, but what it seems to be is something that the person can relate to emotional in a really positive or negative way that gets traffic; talking about spam, your lunch, computer viruses, having a cold, the book you read on a relationship often gets people to comment. The personal touch is the comment magnet.
This is a great topic! I don't get as many comments as some of you but my blog is still young and I've been pleased with the increase over the past 6 months. And, compared to my longtime personal blog, which I don't publicize anywhere and has about 28 readers, Worducopia is booming! My readership is pretty steady through the week, with a spike on Saturday due to Weekly Geeks. But I feel like I'm still figuring out what works, so reading everyone's thoughts is really helpful.
It's fun to watch your stats on a monthly basis. I've stopped being so concerned about what goes on daily, as long as I'm seeing an increase monthly.
