Using the Firefox Greasemonkey Preview Enhanced Script for Google Reader

If you are using both Firefox and Google Reader as your feedreader of choice then you might be interested in this tool to enhance your blogging experience. I realized that many bloggers, both new and old, might not be aware that this is even out there, so I thought I would mention it. It's honestly one of the very best things I ever did.

Using Firefox, download Greasemonkey and then the Preview Enhanced Script. Once you do this, you will be able to view blog posts from within the frame of your Google Reader and comment without ever having to open a new tab.

Isn't it awesome!! I LOVE it!
After using Firefox for the past two years I don't think I could ever go back to IE. Good luck installing it!
I will try this out tonight...can't wait. On a side note, anyone else pondering a switch to feeddemon after problogger's article?
I just looked at the article. I must admit I'm curious. I will have to at least go look into it.

Hmm . . . I haven't had to do shift v. I usually click on the title or just hit the preview button on the bottom. Interesting. Also, for blogger blogs that have embedded comment forms after you comment it will take you out of GR. I just go back afterwards. It must be some kind of bug. But I don't mind as it makes everything else in my life easier. Also, if you do want to open the post in a new tab (to share the url or something) I hover over the title, right click and select open link in new tab.
Same here, Wendy. I'm not sure if a restart will help, but I don't have a preview button either! Shift V works though.
Thanks! Took me a minute to figure it out but I like it.
Thanks Natasha! This will make life much nicer. =)
I've been thinking about switching to Google Chrome. Will this greasemonkey thing still work on that?
It's just a Firefox add-on and script. :(
I wonder, does anyone know if perhaps this doesn't work on a Mac? I've installed everything and restarted the computer, but I don't see a button, nor does the shift + v command work for me. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know :-)
Somebody else couldn't see it either but they were in expanded view. It shows in list view. Try that?
