Thanks, Mistress! Glad to know I was doing it correctly! :) Hopefully your explanations will help some others too. :)

Yes Kara ,
When you click the thumbs up you're making that link a favorite. If you want to go even further you can click the little though bubble icon and leave a short review &/or add subject tags ex: http://www.stumbleupon.com/url/bermudaonion.wordpress.com/2008/12/12/guest-post-by-karen-harrington/

The zero you're seeing when you go to the SU homepage refers to you clicking the stumble button ( far left of you're tool bar) which would take you to new sites based on all the info you're feeding it about your interests, likes, & dislikes

Melissa,
Yes, I use Firefox and I have the toolbar. So to stumble I just click the thumbs up, right? When I stumble a page that way, it gets added to my favorites. On the SU site is says I haven't stumbled anything yet, but I have 7 in my "likes." Is that the same thing? I just want to make sure I'm doing this the right way. Thanks for the help everyone!!! :)

Thanks for help with SU buttons. Got one in the sidebar of my blog. Working on the bottom of post thing.

I just signed up and I find it hard to navigate. Apparently, they just updated but I think it could be more user friendly. The help page isn't much help. I'm sure I'll figure it out in time.

When you're signerd into SU at the bottom of your pages if you're in the home tab there will be a row of links right above the copyright info. One of the links is "buttons and tools" if you click that it takes you to a page that allows you to choose the graphic for the button you want and it looks like it will walk you through the steps to get the code from there. I would assume that then you copy and paste the code into the post(s) you want to have it on. I haven't had time to mess around with it so am guessing based on the first screen how it works.

I haven't figured out how to get the StumbleIt button on my posts yet, but I use the Stumble toolbar and just click the thumbs up, which opens the review page to add it to Stumble.

Kara,
Do you use Fire Fox? if so you can just add a stumble upon toolbar then you can stumble any page simply. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/138

I understand the idea of stumbling, but what's the proper way to do it??? If I'm on your post and there's no "stumble it," how do I stumble your post? I'm confused!!! I'd love to stumble some reviews but only manage to add them to my favorites. Ack!

You are a step ahead of me. I haven't even figured how to sign up for it.
