I've just discovered another great review of Tilly's Tale has shown up, this time on the site of Barnes & Noble.
The review says:

Absolutely adorable true tale!!!by Jacque_F

Reader Rating: 5 stars

December 06, 2009: What an absolutely adorable true story written by a man with a heart as big as Texas for his canine "kids"! God bless him for not only taking in these poor unfortunate animals but to go even further to nurture and train them to help others! Love how he gave the voice to Tilly so she could tell her story in her own words...PERFECT! It made me laugh,it made me cry, and it made me feel warm all over!!! A great read for ANY age! Can't wait for the next book!

Tilly's Tale also took a leap up the rankings at both Barnes and Noble and Amazon.co.uk today and the book can be obtained from the following sources.

At long last I've managed to get Tilly to agree to pose for a photo with a copy of Tilly's Tale.
Here she is, seated in my office chair of course, from where the book was written. Tilly's Tale is available from the following sources:

Tilly’s Tale

Tilly is a small, scruffy terrier. When her master dies she is taken from his home by the old man’s son, who instead of looking after her, throws the little dog out into his garden where she is left to fend for herself through a freezing winter. Huddled beneath a bush, kicked by the man’s wife if she ventures out, Tilly lies, cold and miserable waiting for her only friends, the garden birds to return with the Spring. One day, the half-starved little dog is taken from the garden by the man and loaded into his car. She is about to embark on a journey into the unknown, a journey that will change Tilly’s life for ever. Share in the trials and tribulations of this remarkable little dog as she finds that life in the human world can be a cruel and lonely one, but that hope and the will to survive can bring about the most miraculous of changes. If you love dogs, you must read, Tilly’s tale!

I'm more than delighted that Tilly's Tale has just received another wonderful review which appears on both Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk

Here's what the reviewer had to say:

5.0 out of 5 stars A Charming Story With An Inspiring Message, 3 Dec 2009
By Carole Gill (England) - See all my reviews
I just had the privilege of reading the most heart-warming beautifully written and illustrated book about a rescue dog called Tilly.
Tilly's Tale by Harry Porter is an inspiration. We see from Tilly's point of view what life is really like. Following the death of her much loved owner Sam, Tilly finds her entire world has changed and not for the better--not at first. But then Tilly finds love and caring in the person of Harry Porter and his family.
This is a tale for everyone and especially for those of us, like me, who know just how much love dogs are capable of giving.
I think of it as a canine Oliver Twist because it has the drama, pathos cruelty and deep and abiding love that Dickens wrote about.
When you read this little gem you'll see what I mean. Harry Porter has managed to give voice to Tilly and by doing so he gives all dogs everywhere a chance to ask of us one thing--to be treated with respect. Surely that is only right.
Thank you, Tilly and Harry for the eloquent and moving account of one rescued dog's journey from lost to found and to the love and care Tilly and all dogs deserve.
