Comment Train

A group for those who are looking for people willing to genuinely read and comment on a review.

Members: 18
Latest Activity: Aug 29, 2013

How This Works:

I'll be creating different trains for you to jump on each week. You should post a review that needs some love and then visit others on the train throughout the week. This is not for spamming your own blog. You should genuinely read through reviews and leave a thoughtful comment. NO SPAMMING. If you spam, I will block you from the group.

I've broken them into larger and smaller trains so that you can choose which train you'd rather participate in.

IF, and when this group gets bigger. I'll adjust the rules so that you don't have to comment on every single one but maybe just on a couple of them or something. Or maybe the person before and after you? I'll figure it out when that time comes. But right now we are a small group so we can comment on all.

Trains going for the week of September 19-26:

-YA train
- Adult Fiction train

Specific Trains:
-Historical Fiction
-Paranormal/Fantasy/Sci Fi Train
- Mystery Train
- Non-fiction Train
- Non-review/Bookish topics train
-Romance Train
-Classics Train

INTRODUCTIONS BY C.L. STONE
THE ACADEMY VOL 1

The story is nothing supernatural, fantastic or with many fights. It is simply the meeting of a group of young endearing people on which we want to know more about because we feel that they are hiding something.

I was intrigued and hooked from the beginning until the end!

GOLDEN BOY BY ABIGAIL TARTTELIN

Amazing, gripping and stunning!I did not expect such a heart-piercing story ...

Max is intersex. He has the same number of female and male chromosomes since his birth.
Max Walker touched me, moved me... I had great difficulty to lay out this book before reaching the last pages. I did not expect such a heart-piercing story ...

**THE BIGGEST GIVEAWAY YET!** Here it is! It's no secret that authors need reviews (as well as likes). I have a goal of obtaining 200 reviews in 2 weeks in preparation for my pitch to a few big wig publishers! YIKES! I believe that we can do it! If you help me reach my goal, I'll give away a KINDLE from Best buy! If we fall short of 200, I'll still giveaway a $50.00 giftcard (to your choice Best buy or Amazon) The winner can also elect to get the gift card instead of the KINDLE (in case you already have one).

Drawing will be on Feb. 1st (I will quit sending out PDF's on the 17th but you can still "pay to play" by buying the kindle, nook, paperback and submit a review by the 1st)

Here are the rules!
Email me at Author.KB.Lever@aol.com to obtain a PDF file of Manipulating the List (or you're welcome to buy it to support me - Amazon.com or BN.com). Once you've completed reading it - go to Amazon.com AND BN.com (must go to both!) and leave an honest review! Once you've left your reviews send me a new email that says 1) your name 2) your reviewer name on the sites. Then keep an eye on www.facebook.com/TheImmortalCompanionSeries to make sure the NOTE (KINDLE GIVEAWAY) has your information to show that you have entered! Winner will be emailed as well. Thanks and Good Luck!

BLOOD HEAVY BY S.L.J SHORTT

A robust and spicy flavored story that changed from the one the reader are used to browse this past years.
Sure there is some paranormal creatures but the context seems real and believable.
In this book, there's action, fightings mostly diluted between the verbal sparring matches from the different characters that are very, very funny.
A real treat!

LINK FOR THE ENTIRE POST - http://tourzdecodex.blogspot.com/2011/11/why-virtual-book-tours.html

The Virtual Book Tour empowers authors to connect their books with interested readers through the medium of weblogs and personal websites.

In a nutshell, a Virtual Book Tour consists of an author "stopping" at a given number of websites in a given about of time, the same as they would do at bookstores during a real world tour. At these stops, the author may be interviewed, may take over the site for a day and blog themselves, may answer questions from readers, get their book reviewed or do all four.

So with an affordable amount, we at Tourz de Codex strive to offer the best services to our host and clients alike.

AND WE HAVE A NEW TOUR UP!

ANGEL BY L.A WEATHERLY

In this first volume of the trilogy of L.A WEATHERLY, the auteur is far from describing the usual image of the guardian angels. Far from beings of light that illuminate the path of men in the darkness, the Angels are portrayed like pretty thirsty beasts who craved for the energy produced by humans. They feed literally of men. Letting them deteriorate physically and mentally after using them.

I found this novel approach very fresh and orginal. So, we enter a world with more black who is preparing an invasion, which could lead to the destruction of the human race. It changes a little from the story of vampires who want to conquer the world!

Read more about this book directly on my blog: http://newbooksonmyselves.blogspot.com/2011/10/angel-by-la-weatherl...
