BLOOD HEAVY BY S.L.J SHORTT

A robust and spicy flavored story that changed from the one the reader are used to browse this past years. 
Sure there is some paranormal creatures but the context seems real and believable. 
In this book, there's action, fightings mostly diluted between the verbal sparring matches from the different characters that are very, very funny.
A real treat!

ANGEL BY L.A WEATHERLY

In this first volume of the trilogy of L.A WEATHERLY, the auteur is far from describing the usual image of the guardian angels. Far from beings of light that illuminate the path of men in the darkness, the Angels are portrayed like pretty thirsty beasts who craved for the energy produced by humans. They feed literally of men. Letting them deteriorate physically and mentally after using them.

I found this novel approach very fresh and orginal. So, we enter a world with more black who is preparing an invasion, which could lead to the destruction of the human race. It changes a little from the story of vampires who want to conquer the world!

  WINTER'S SHADOWS BY M.J. HEARLE   

I must admit that I have a little time to get into the story. Yet as in "The Others" with Nicole Kidman, I could not help but stay alert while waiting for bad things to happen.

The author keeps you in suspense with a thriller built in detail. But I admit I waited a bit too long before the real action begins...
