More Than Comics by Elizabeth Briggs

A nice romance super fast to read with cool characters.
What was really interesting was the description of the Comic-Con atmosphere, the fans behaviours as well as the comics world industry.
Honestly, it's a nice read. Perfect to chill after a long day.

If You Only Knew by Kristan Higgins

It's a beautiful story about women, sisters, mothers, love and relationships. Simple but full of emotions that are able to grabb you from the start.

Was very impressed about this story because how true and proper were the emotions. Not too much, not too cliché. Just a vision of perfection, of the expectations we can project and how difficult it is to be true to yourself.

Vice by Rosanna Leo reviewed at Library Journal.

Reviewer Lisa Jordan had this to say: "The heat between these protagonists spikes instantly....Two damaged people come together at first owing to an immense attraction and stay together as attraction and desire blend into something more."

Vice releases Sept. 22 at Samhain Publishing but is now available for preorder (print/ebook) at various outlets, including

He's much more than a bad habit.

As a Vegas singer and volunteer counselor, Kate Callender has experienced life on both sides of Sin City's bright lights. The thrill of performing, and gambling's devastating effect on the addicts' families. Liam Doyle is just the kind of man she despises-a handsome, enigmatic businessman with a knack for seducing customers into his casino hotels. Determined to put a lid on his growing influence, she prepares to picket the opening of his newest casino, Vice.

When Liam spots the lone protestor hassling his customers, annoyance wars with instant attraction. And he quickly discovers the leggy redhead not only can't be bought, she tempts him the way the sound of a roulette wheel lures a gambler.

They are natural enemies, but when a vile attack sparks Liam's protective instincts, they begin a sexual odyssey that dances on the edge of addiction. Dangerously close to losing control...and losing themselves.

Warning: Contains a sexy, damaged hero who'd really rather just be having sex, and a no-nonsense redhead who makes him want to roll the dice on love just one more time.

Sloan Foster was always a good girl. An honor student in high school, she had big plans for herself, and then college happened. She thought she’d met the man of her dreams in hometown football star Lucas Smith. Then she had the earth shattering realization that dreams were just that…dreams. She found herself pregnant, right about the time he got drafted for the NFL and dropped her like a bad habit. Now a struggling 25 year old single mom, she works as a massage therapist and is determined to take care of her son, Sage, on her own, without a dime from him. No matter how many times he tries to pay her to ensure her silence.

Loxley Storm was raised by his mom, his dad was a dead beat he never knew. Growing up, he had anger issues and got into a lot of trouble for fighting. Thankfully, a man named Marco took him under his wing and helped him learn to control his anger by fighting…in the ring. Now 26, he is an MMA fighter working to become pro, helping run Marco’s gym along with his best friends, Sly and Huck. To the trio, getting tied down with women is something they don’t need. To blow off steam, they have the “hit it and quit it” motto.

Until an injury in a fight lands Lox on Sloan’s massage table, where sparks fly and neither can deny the attraction. The more pieces of Sloan Lox finds out, the more he respects her and her accomplishments as a single mom. Sloan is hesitant to trust another man, and she sure doesn’t want to risk her son getting hurt, but how long can she keep Lox at arm’s length? Will she let Lox in? Or will she let her past ruin her chances of finding love again?

Letters to Zell by Camille Griep

The fact that these super star princesses were not happy about what every girls dream of being a wonderful ending for a love story from childhood, made me want to know more about the author plot.

But to be honest, I would have run away myself from their clique. They only know how to gossip and are really not cool role model.

Offside by Juliana Stone

Honestly, I wouldn't have tried this book if I've seen the cover before… It doesn't do the story justice. Of course, there is a hot girl and an handsome man… Of course, it's a romance… But the plot is good.
The author has created some interesting females characters with her triplets as well as with the family drama that has a nice touch of reality.

Dementia, rivalry between siblings, men's world, sports and lust! :-)

The Bollywood Bride by Sonali Dev

Darker with sometimes heavy emotions, Sonali Dev is leading the reader to a great romantic story. There is something really fresh about her plot.
Of course, it's a romantic love story but not an easy one. Nothing predictable.

Seduced in Secret by Shiloh Walker

Sweet and easy.

I was looking for an easy read. I was not disappointed. It's a cute romance.
The perfect story to take with you on a beach or to enjoy on a rainy sunday.

Candidate by Tracy Ewens

Easy, funny and not at all cheesy !
It has been a long time since I haven't spent such a great time with a romance story.

The writing is dynamic, there is a lot of funny touching moments. You don't see the time flying when reading.

Perfect for a relaxing evening!
