Candidate by Tracy Ewens

Easy, funny and not at all cheesy !
It has been a long time since I haven't spent such a great time with a romance story.

The writing is dynamic, there is a lot of funny touching moments. You don't see the time flying when reading.

Perfect for a relaxing evening!

Second Life by S.J. Watson

"Before I Go to Sleep" was a story that really made an impression on myself.

So I was very excited to put my hands on a new story.
It was interesting but the characters were not strong enough.
Worst: the more I was trying to turn the pages, the more I was losing interest in the story.

Very disappointed as I was really expecting to enjoy myself.

A Matter of Trust

Taylor and Gordon were high school sweethearts in the small Rocky Mountain town of Digby, Colorado. Scholarships, family moves, college and simple growing pains pulled them apart. To Gordon it felt more like betrayal since Taylor left without saying good-bye. Circumstances left them both feeling betrayed, abandoned and brokenhearted, but they moved forward with their careers. Gordon became the local veterinarian, and Taylor accepted a scholarship from the people of Digby to finish her medical degree, which requires her to return to practice in her hometown for a specified number of years.

Tenderness, heartache, and hilarity ensue as a larcenous bear, a mischievous boy, local expectations, and personal memories wreak havoc on their relationship. I hope you enjoy this story, which RT Book Club calls "Erotically charged and emotionally heartwarming." Happy reading!

He’s much more than a bad habit.

Vice_EPUB

As a Vegas singer and volunteer counselor, Kate Callender has experienced life on both sides of Sin City’s bright lights. The thrill of performing, and gambling’s devastating effect on the addicts’ families.

Liam Doyle is just the kind of man she despises—a handsome, enigmatic businessman with a knack for seducing customers into his casino hotels. Determined to put a lid on his growing influence, she prepares to picket the opening of his newest casino, Vice.

When Liam spots the lone protestor hassling his customers, annoyance wars with instant attraction. And he quickly discovers the leggy redhead not only can’t be bought, she tempts him the way the sound of a roulette wheel lures a gambler.

They are natural enemies, but when a vile attack sparks Liam’s protective instincts, they begin a sexual odyssey that dances on the edge of addiction. Dangerously close to losing control…and losing themselves.

Warning: Contains a sexy, damaged hero who’d really rather just be having sex, and a no-nonsense redhead who makes him want to roll the dice on love just one more time.

Victoria Wilder was the perfect wife. At least she tried to be. She had enough books and magazines to tell her how to be one, and all that reading had to pay off eventually. She is a devoted mother to her son, Derek and a loving wife to her husband, Philip. Even though her orderly family life was virtually perfect to all who saw her, it was also passionless. Mark Beck was an ex-navy pilot, and liked to live life on the edge. A man with many women in his life, he moved next door to Victoria’s family. He is instantly drawn to Victoria, and she to him, and they try to fight the attraction. Eventually, the forbidden passion between them will turn Victoria’s cloistered and controlled world upside down.

THE PERFECT WIFE IS AVAILABLE IN PAPERBACK OR ON KINDLE
