In trying to get Joseph Orbi's books known, there is this novel written recently by the title of Cosa Nostra. No, it's not about the mafia.
Cosa Nostra is a little gay, a little straight and very funny. A blend of black humor and suspense, it is also the story of a murder that happens without musical accompaniment.
Set in New York, Cosa Nostra describes the outrageous entangled lives of Frank Lippi, an Italian Don; Maestro Enrico Monticelli, a flamboyant opera impresario; his extremely forceful missus, a world famous Triple Crown winner; and Captain Nestor Picol, a very small but determined police detective.

I am posting this here because I can't find another group that meets the specs for a funny murder mystery with outrageous characters (some living, by the way).
If anyone should be interested in reviewing this book, I would be very grateful because I think it is time that Joseph Orbi's books are given the attention they deserve.
Many thanks in advance,
