When my mother read my first collection of humorous true stories, LOST IN THE HIVE (PublishingWorks), she said simply, “I wouldn’t recommend it to any of MY friends”. I took this as the highest form of compliment.

Among the highlights are personal accounts of nightmarish experiences with pets, “roughing it” with a four-star-hotel wife and learning to loving oneself (in every way). Regarding the latter story, one reader wrote, “I thought it was going to cause a massive hemorrhage in my brain pan. My entire family came downstairs at 2am to ask what the hell was so funny. I'm no longer allowed to read Lost in the Hive after 10pm. Thanks, jackass.”

Even though the joys and stresses of love, marriage and parenting pervade the stories, this one’s not for the faint of heart.
